German PMI rises to 74-month high

Need more evidence that the German economy is on fire? The June PMI has come-in at a 74-month high of 59.6. That’s a slight improvement over the previous month’s print of 59.4.

  • Fastest growth in new orders since March 2011
  • Input price inflation slows to seven-month low
  • Output price inflation quickened and was the second-fastest since July 2011

Uptick in the output price inflation could boost EUR.
